In recognition of her extensive experience in engineering geology and geophysics Nicola Fairs, a Director of Phase Site Investigations, has been elected to Chartered Geologist status by the Geological Society of London.
Becoming chartered has been one of Nicola’s main professional objectives and we at Phase are delighted and proud that she has achieved this and would like to extend to her our warmest congratulations.
Nicola has worked for a number of geotechnical and geophysical companies in both the public and private sectors. She is therefore ideally placed to understand what information an engineering geologist or geotechnical engineer needs from a geophysical survey and which techniques can best provide those requirements.
Nicola’s commitment to quality and best practice was one of the factors that helped her achieve Chartered status and at Phase she has overall responsibility for the Health and Safety, Quality Management and Environmental Management systems.
